Operation of Instrument
Not all distilled water is created equally so the ppm (parts per million) of impurities may vary from batch to batch even within the same brand of water. You can test the purity of your water by observing the red progression lights on your instrument. If more than the fifth red indicator light is on when you first start the machine with the silver wires in their proper positions in the distilled water you should replace the water you are using with either another brand or another batch from the same brand.

DC Power Adapter
This unit is provided with an AC-DC power adapter. Before using the instrument please plug the adapter plug into the jack on the side of the device. You can then insert the adapter into a household 110-volt wall plug.
Inserting the wires in the Holder
Fill a glass container with 16oz (500mililiters) of distilled water. Position the wire holder over the 500-milliliter (16 oz) of distilled water in a glass vessel. Place the tip of the wires in the small holes drilled on either side of the bigger hole in the center of the holder. Place the holder with silver wires attached into the distilled water.
Connecting the silver maker to the silver wires
The silver maker has two black leads attached. Both leads are fitted with plastic covered clips. Grasp the rear of the clip and press between your thumb and forefinger. This should force the clip open enabling you to attach it to the silver wire end protruding above the holder.Lift silver wire slightly so its not touching the bottom of the jar and attach clip. Repeat this process using the remaining lead on the instrument and attach to the second silver wire on the holder. You can now flip the switch and turn the instrument on.
Indicator Lights
The Kwicksilver Colloidal Silver maker has eleven indicator lights. Ten of the lights are red progress indicators. They will light up one at a time during the process until the solution is ready.
When the instrument has completed its cycle the green indicator light will turn on indicating the colloidal silver is ready.
